Loligo is an experimental audio tool that generates sound from image data.
It allows users to pick up colour values from
the current screen content and use them to control sounds and animations.
In this way, it is possible to create complex, animated systems of interlocking audiovisual elements.
These can be designed to continuously run on their own, or to respond to real-time input (e.g MIDI),
and thus, become reactive sound objects, or even musical instruments.
